Sportfishing in Gran Canaria, for those who want to play with the big boys! Are you an experienced or a newbie in the sport fishing? It all doesn’t matter, with our experienced fishers you will get an amazing experience. So what to expect from a fishing trip in Gran Canaria?

First of all, you will be picked up from the place where you are staying during the morning. This will be between 8.00-8.30 am then they will bring you straight to their boat in the harbor of Puerto Rico. In fact, the skipper wants to go out at 9 o’clock, so you can get the maximum out of your day. Once out of the harbor, you will get stunned straight away by the amazing coastline of Gran Canaria.

In the meanwhile you are enjoying the view, the staff will supply you with a nice breakfast. Once the skipper reaches a distance of 5 miles (8 km) from the coastline the fishing game can begin. You are provided with all the fishing equipment. For the newbies, there will be an introduction to sport fishing in Gran Canaria.

After all the lines are out in the big ocean, the excitement of who’s going to have the first fish will raise at that point. But yea, what can you exactly expect to get out of this ocean. This dispense on the season you want to join us.

From October until May we do bottom fishing. So in this period of the year, you can catch Garfish, Breams, Atlantic bonitos, Snappers, Congers, Morays, and Jacks.

There is also a chance that you will catch a Stingray or a hammer shark in case, these ones will be released straight away.

From May until October we will go for trolling. At this time you can catch White- and Blue Marlin, Dorado, Spearfish, and Wahoo.

Meanwhile, you are busy catching your fish, the crew will take care of your lunch and drinks. Finally, after an exciting day of fishing, we expect to be back in Puerto Rico at 03:00 pm. Once there you will get your transport back to your place of staying.
